Spring Open Enrollment Training Begins April 9

The start of another season is upon us and it’s time to sharpen the tools in your toolbox. Challenge Towers will be hosting Level 1 and 2 ACCT certifications April 9-15 at our facilities in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. This intensive week-long course is open to challenge course and aerial park professionals looking to gain valuable knowledge and skills. Learn from trusted experts on our award winning commercial facilities at High Gravity Adventures and traditional team-oriented challenge course at the Blowing Rock Conference Center.

Properly trained staff are essential to any risk management program. Whether you are seeking advanced certification, maintaining your company training requirements, or are just starting out in the industry, these sessions are designed to help you gain greater conceptual knowledge applicable to your site-specific procedures, as well as general practices and technical skills that support sound risk management policy. Our ACCT-accredited program will help better qualify you as a challenge course professional and provide perspective on any courses you find yourself working on.

Challenge Towers was one of the first Professional Vendor Members accredited by the Association for Challenge Course Technology and we offer a wide range of site specific and open enrollment trainings and practitioner certifications.  Our trainings are tailored to your operation and instructed by passionate and experienced educators. Our work with businesses and organizations in more than 30 states allows us to keep you current with evolving standards and best practices for a range of facilities large and small.

Over the course of the week, trainees will become learn about the following topics: Low Ropes – permanent and portable initiatives, High Ropes, Zip Lines, Giant Swings, specialty events, Climbing Walls, Facilitation skills, Advanced & Emerging Technologies, and Basic & Advanced Rescue Systems.

Our upcoming open enrollment program will concentrate on low facilitation skills and spotted challenge course activity standards for the first three days. The remaining days will include high ropes course basic operations & technical skills practice in preparation for the Certification test.
